The AWC Thundertrap suppressor is an excellent example of what can be achieved when no limits are placed on development costs for outer limits performance. A frequent comment from people who have observed the Thundertrap is that "they were unsure about hearing any super-sonic projectile flight signature (sonic crack)". The "unattainable" has been attained! Another common remark is "I can actually hear the gas escape from the suppressor. It's not a pop but a hissing noise." We will simply state that the interior design causes gas to be held significantly longer than any other design we have ever seen. The actual gas exit delay time is nothing short of fantastic.

Also fantastic is the extreme production time required to produce interior components for the device. It is costly to produce the Thundertrap but for those who require this level of suppression - it's priceless. We currently offer the Thundertrap for bolt action rifles through .338 Lapua Magnum chamberings.
